Thermavein for Facial Thread Veins

Thermavein is particularly well suited to the treatment of fine facial thread veins (telangiectasia), including those commonly found on the cheeks, nose, chin, and around the nostrils. The precision of the treatment allows very small blood vessels to be targeted with minimal impact on the surrounding skin, making it an excellent option for delicate facial areas.
Many facial thread veins can be treated successfully in one or two sessions, although more extensive areas may require additional treatments. Some vessels disappear immediately, while others fade gradually over several weeks as the body naturally clears the treated vein.
Following treatment, it is normal to experience temporary redness, mild swelling, and occasional small scabs at the treatment sites. These effects usually settle within a few days. Patients should protect the treated area from excessive sun exposure and follow the aftercare advice provided to achieve the best cosmetic outcome.
Unlike thread veins on the legs, facial thread veins are not usually associated with underlying venous disease and rarely require ultrasound assessment. However, a clinical consultation is still important to confirm the diagnosis, discuss treatment expectations, and ensure Thermavein is the most appropriate treatment for your concerns.

Key benefits of Thermavein for facial thread veins:

  • Precise treatment of very small vessels
  • No injections or surgery required
  • Minimal downtime
  • Suitable for sensitive facial areas
